Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you create and use an account, including your name, email address, account credentials or sign-in identifier, plan start date, settings and support messages.

To provide the programme and track your progress, we may collect training and programme information such as workout sets, session metrics, daily targets, meal selections, weekly measurements, weight, waist measurements, fitness-test results, notes, and progress photos if you choose to upload them. Progress photos are optional.

When you purchase access, our payment provider processes your payment-card information. AertaFit receives and records purchase amounts, transaction identifiers, payment status and access dates; we do not store full payment-card numbers.

We also process limited technical and security information needed to run and protect the service, such as IP address, browser or device information, log data, and essential cookies. AertaFit does not use advertising cookies or analytics pixels. Meal-planning choices and shopping-list ticks may be stored locally on your device rather than in your account.

Google sign-in and Google data

If you choose Continue with Google, we receive only the Google account information needed to create, link and secure your AertaFit account: your Google account identifier, email address, and basic profile information that Google makes available to the selected sign-in scope (for example, your name and profile image, if provided).

We use Google user data only to provide, maintain and secure Google sign-in and your AertaFit account. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, use it to determine eligibility for credit or other unrelated purposes, or allow it to be used by third parties except as necessary to provide the service, comply with law, or protect AertaFit and its users. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or other Google content unless we clearly ask for that access and update this notice first.

Why we use information

We use information to:

• create and administer accounts and authenticate sign-ins;
• provide the paid AertaFit programme, save progress and display your information to you;
• process and verify purchases, provide access, handle refunds and prevent fraud;
• respond to support requests and send important service or account messages;
• keep the service secure, diagnose problems and enforce our terms; and
• meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.

Where the GDPR applies, we generally process information to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service. We rely on your consent where required, including for optional information such as progress photos where applicable.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us operate AertaFit, including providers for cloud hosting and storage, authentication, email delivery, payment processing, and technical support. Those providers may process information only on our instructions and for the services they provide to us. Payment providers process payment-card information under their own privacy notices.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect the security or rights of AertaFit, our users or the public, or in connection with a corporate transaction. We do not sell personal information and do not make member progress photos public.

Some providers may process information outside Ireland or the European Economic Area. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and programme information while your account remains active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and meet legal obligations. You can request account deletion from the in-app Profile area or by emailing support@aertafit.com. A verified deletion request removes or de-identifies account, programme and uploaded-photo data unless we need to retain specific records, such as purchase and tax records, to comply with law or address a dispute. You can also ask us to delete data associated with Google sign-in by deleting your AertaFit account or contacting support@aertafit.com. Removing your AertaFit account does not delete your Google account or data held by Google.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls, authenticated account access, security monitoring and protections for information in transit. No online service can guarantee absolute security; please protect your password and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of or objection to our processing of your information, and to request a portable copy of information you provided to us. To make a request, email support@aertafit.com from the email address associated with your account. We may ask for information to verify your identity before responding.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or your local data-protection authority.

Children

AertaFit is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice when our practices or the service changes. We will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date.
